Avoid the tunnel!
We strongly suggest these simpler routes to avoid the I-64 tunnel traffic and Norfolk traffic.
You may think it is longer, but these are actually quicker and easier - especially if you are pulling a trailer!
map From Northern & Richmond, Virginia
Simply continue south on I-295 past Richmond and the I-64 East exit, then take I-195 onto 460 east.
- Take Exit #3A from I-295 onto 460 East
- Take 460 East onto US-13/58 East
- Continue on US-58 East and bare off to the right at Exit 15B onto I-64 West
- Take Exit #286B onto Indian River Rd
- Continue on Indian River Rd to W. Neck Rd
- Turn right onto W. Neck Rd
- Turn right onto W. Landing Rd.
- The equestrian center will be just down road on the right.

Simply take the Monitor Merrimac Bridge Tunnel (MMBT), it can actually be quicker and avoid all the Norfolk traffic!
- Take Exit #264 from I-64 to the Monitor Merrimac Bridge Tunnel
- This exit is just 2 miles before the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel (HRBT)
- Continue on I-664, it will turn into I-64 West
- Continue on I-64 West to Exit #286B (Indian River Rd)
- Continue on Indian River Rd to W. Neck Rd
- Turn right onto W. Neck Rd
- Turn right onto W. Landing Rd.
- The equestrian center will be just down road on the right.
map From Raleigh, NC area - Avoid I-95
(Approx. 3.5 hour drive)
- Take I-87/US-264/US-64 East (it will become just US-64 East) past I-95.
- Continue on US-64 to Hwy 17 North
- Continue onto Hwy 17 By-Pass to VA-168
- Take Exit 11B onto VA-165 (Mt Pleasant Rd)
- Mt Pleasant turns into N. Landing Rd
- Turn right onto Indian River Rd (VA-603)
- Turn right onto W. Neck Rd
- Turn right onto W. Landing Rd.
- The equestrian center will be just down road on the right.
